image.jpg My 2016 DCSB TRD Sport with Graphite Interior was delivered 2 weeks ago. As I have been looking it over as time allows, I noticed my drivers side door has some marks or blemishes on the plastic that I thought would wipe off. They don't. Does anyone else's doors look like these or is this just my OCD showing through?image.jpg

    OCD it's not a Ferrari.

These marks will eventually come, you may have even put that there yourself with your shoe hitting it going in and out.

These threads are getting ridiculous lol

I'm not trying to be a dick cause I am far from one but some of these complaints are like wtf ?

The lower scuffs looks normal; the blotchy stuff doesn't.
Do you have any kind of interior protection package or dealer prep done?

My second gen has some of those.
Couldn't tell you how they happened but they are there.

Probably just from shoes rubbing up next to them

I agree. The bottom two do look like a shoe scuff. I was referring to the ones that look like blotches. I did not have any kind of interior protection done and only dealer prep as usual.

Are you talking about the marks inside where the cup holders are? If so, try some 303 Aerospace protectant.

It looks like you have a JBL speaker, but not the JBL logo on the grill?

I've scuffed up the lower panel where the speaker is just like that - the spots in the bottle holder area look like extrusion sprue marks that I suspect look quite obvious from the backside of the panel - don't think that can be removed...

Do you think it's fair to say that this is a manufacturing snafu on Toyota's part? Should I just look past it and move on or try to do something about it. The thing is, neither of my other 3 doors look that way.

My 2014 tundra had the same issues, some plastics look purple under light and some pics I've seen on here they are the same way, I got over it but I do think it is a manufacturing defect. I also found some some green spots in a few areas.

I get them on my truck as well. It's most likely from your shoe. Armor all works well.

It looks like some form of injection mold knitting when the door panels are molded. I've noticed similar things on my 2nd gen :(

Yes - to me, poor quality control. I wouldn't expect to see that in a modern, more than entry-level vehicle. Having said that, it's more a cosmetic thing unless the plastic there is substantially thinner there and may crack-out over time...your call on that, but it might not hurt to press and flex it there - if there's more give there than on the opposite side panel, I'd suggest talking to your dealer?
