I'm not sure if King displays all their tech specs on their springs, but any good manufacturer of springs will have those specs readily available. If they don't, then stray away.

    Stick to 14."

Yeah, and as @ckeene9 said, how much preload do you have?

    Oh shit :O

Okay, that's not cool at all… You know what, get rid of those springs entirely. You may have gotten a bad batch, or they were just horribly QC'ed. Go with the Eibach ERS's. 14" 3.0 ID 600-700#' (depending how much weight you got up front).

It really shouldn't matter. The springs should be able to handle anything thrown their way as long as it's done within their manufactured limits. Unless you are getting at the fact that they went on there wrong and have been sitting incorrect the entire time?

They were compressed but nothing crazy. I think I just got a bad batch. Haven't abused the set up at all and haven't even been off-road since this summer

You should be able to bend the wheel well liner a bit with a pair of channel locks to get the bolts out. I've had mine on and off several times with out much issue.

The other trick is to release the wiring harnesses in the engine bay near where the bolts have to slide. You can see all the clips in the wheel well, so not hard.

When welding spindle gussets, do you guys replace any of the CV seals while you are in there? I know you have to unbolt everything that is attached to the spindle prior to welding. I am putting a new wheel bearing and inner seal on the passenger side as it is starting to go bad but the driver's side is fine.

Works for me :) Anything else that is a "wear" item that is probably better replaced than reused?

Huh. It's that easy? Wow. I don't even have any fender liners left, so that part is already done and over with.

Sounds like one of you are talking about steering rack bolts and the other about UCA bolts.

I have an interest in replacing my steering rack bushings, but not looking forward to the work...

This is the only writeup on TW for V6 that I'm aware of on how to do it.

But cutting bolt is not necessary according to what Chase wrote here:
