Myself a bazooka may be appropriate in this situation....

    Afternoon all:
You guys are a lot of help!
100 yds. with that gun is almost eyeball to eyeball! :) It's a 22-250, 788 Rem., that is "USUALLY" extremely accurate, looks like it's time to make a trip to the range.

In the late '60's on our farm in Nevada, we'd go Jack rabbit spot lighting about once a week in the Summer. Had so many bodies around our 336 acres, we had vultures hanging out. My dad would get mad now and then when I couldn't see a rabbit, not my fault I needed glasses.

Some of my other money is in annuities, 5% and 8% interest. I'll collect that in a few more years at 65. I wanted some of my money in a somewhat safe place, making more than .5 or 1% interest.

The people who gave you 8% annuities must be hating themselves right about now...

Remember a guy in Clovis that had trouble stopping Coyotes with a 22-250 until he changed bullets and slowed down to 223 velocities.
Could be you are just poking a hole right through it.

I was always told if a little is good a lot is better. We can upgrade to a howitzer.
    :rofl::infantry::infantry::infantry::quickdraw:

Actually understandable with temp change and older ammo.
Sometimes just a few rounds down range is all it needs.
Plus an excuse to make noise.

    Evening all:
Possible, but got the last one with it. I usually shoot 55gr. Hornady Spire Points and have had good luck with them on chucks. I just got back from the range and may have figured out what I did. I had some 53gr. hollow point boat tail match bullets loaded, and think I had the gun sighted in for them and a different powder. When I shot them, the gun was on, when I shot the 55 gr. HSP, it was about 3" high. I may have grabbed a 55 gr. shell which would have caused me to shoot high.
Will see what happens at next opportunity!

Did I mention, in Nevada in the early 70's in community college, some roomies used to call Coyotes. They'd skin them and line em up outside to dry on stretchers, across from a grade school. Kids were always gawking. :) Throw the carcass in a trash can. Surprised the trash guys picked the cans up.

    Laughing at that Duane!
Years ago when we caught a lot of walleyes at the local lake, I would return the carcasses to the garbage cans the next night----night after night!
For some reason they removed the garbage cans after awhile!

A while back, some fishermen discovered Walleyes in the family lake in MN. My uncles property, his house was across the county road from the lake. Became pretty popular. I want to go back there in Sept.

    yup

The builder was a cheap skate... why spend $1 on the part.... Not to mention.... never mind..... water under the bridge o_O

That's about how long it took to finish the line, when they finally got the pipe down. OMG what a pain in the rear end.

the builder paid the least he could, so he could pocket the last penny he could squeeze out of a house. Plumber got paid squat

:pout: yeah, I miss some of those guys.... :pout:

    That good huh!
I haven't switched yet, it's a shame they are almost forcing people out of windows 7 by saying they aren't going to support it any longer after a certain amount of time. I would hate to pass it up for free, and then have to pay for the exact same thing down the road! :(
Critters are moving, was just watching a couple deer out in the yard and a raccoon that walked through the yard and down to the pond. Also found some old coyote scat this afternoon, on a deer trail that's just behind the 2 car garage just off to the right of the house. :(

    Just saw something interesting!
1 in 3 families is struggling to afford diapers, and the "WHITE HOUSE" is pledging to tackle the "diaper gap".
    "WHAT NEXT" ????
I'm seeing this more and more in our area; no job or min. wage job, no money, and 1 or 2 kids that they can't afford. I wonder in how many instances, the drugs, the beer, and the lottery, come before the diapers! I would say that's almost guaranteed in a lot of cases.

Yeah, Carl... mom comes in with her hair done up and nails all fancy, but can't afford diapers... Priorities people, priorities...... Only had two kids because it was all we could afford....

The welfare mentality of this country is in the voting majority, that is why we are going to have a woman president.
And the rest of us can't do a damn thing about it. :annoyed:
