Real cool posts. Sounds like a lot of hard work, but it looks like a ton a fun. I especially like your vision so far. Flat black would be cool, although you stated that it won't look pretty, I bet it's gonna look kick-ass. I love how the wheels came out, rattle can? if so, would you mind telling me what brand..etc..

    Can't wait for more pics!

    Too few to list.

They are called VSV and last one is a check valve. They both connect to work with the EGR.

The site below should be more of a help for ya.

on the other thread, someone said they went to the front diff for the 4wd. Possible??? I have manual lock in lock out hubs, so if thats the case, that would explain why they were tapped up under the fuse box.

Well, I re-thought your comment.. I am not really sure how this build is Afro-Engineered in the least. Its called rebuilding something. I am not using an ounce of duct tape, no super glue, no fake chrome, Everything is getting bolted in just the way it was from factory, all the factory stuff is being hooked back up. I guess you are just clueless as to how a re-build is done....

Well that was a little harsh. I think what you are doing is really cool but he was just making a little joke.

If anything what you said, "I am not really sure how this build is Afro-Engineered in the least" and "I am not using an ounce of duct tape, no super glue, no fake chrome" was the racist and inappropriate comment.

And the new manifold. I was a little frustrated when we realized that the old on was cracked.

End of the year. I am hoping to have it running by the end of the weekend, but thats kinda up in the air right now. The wife is feeling a lil neglected, so I may do something with her Sunday rather than working on the Tacoma.

Yeah, I know. :D But honestly, I still do a lot with her. We ate dinner and did some running last night before I started on the Tacoma. Tonight is movie night. Friday is questionable as to Tacoma or wife night. Saturday were going to a Christmas Party in the evening. So I honestly am not completely neglecting her, just not spending as much time with her as usual. :D

Damn you are making fast progress on this thing. I wouldn't have the patience for a rebuild requiring this much work.

What will be the purpose of this vehicle? Just to get things up and down the hill on your new property? Or does this thing need to be road worthy and legal?

Anyway, thanks for sharing the pictures and your progress.

And Sunday's should be 'guys day'. Whether you watch football or take that KTM out on the trails, it should be your day to not be obligated. Enjoy it!

    Sounds like it.

Where are you in WV? I have family in Charleston, St. Albans actually, and know where snowshoe is. You live anywhere near there?

Thanks. I am working as hard as I can on it. :D

I need it to me road worthy and mechanically sound. My plan is to be able to load my saws, or whatever in the bed, drive to the property, and work, along with haul fire wood. I also am hoping to not have to put snow tires on my G35 this year, so I will be planning to drive this on days its snowing. My daily drive is just under 100 miles round trip.

We have the little pit bikes that my wife and I trail ride now and then. Its a lot of fun. :D

Im a couple hours north right off I-79. Fairmont.

I thought those bikes looked a bit small. I have a 200exc. And that's very cool that you can ride with your wife. Mine wants nothing to do with it.

There's a lot riding available in your area. I'm just north - in Pittsburgh. We're trying to get a trip down to Hatfield McCoy in the spring.

Oh, you're way north. Cool. Well I'll keep track of the build. Good luck!
