    My wife's uncle is the former police captain of new port beach PD and he told me that if you ever have to use your side arm to defend yourself, make sure you kill the individual (dead men don't talk) and put the weapon immediately on the ground at your feet after you believe the situation is clear.     There is a great book called, "AFTER YOU SHOOT: Your gun's hot. The perp's not. Now what?" If you have fire arms in your house, you need to read this book. Phoenix just updated it's policy to say an officer involved in a shooting will not be questioned for 3 days. That way they have time to calm down to get their story straight. If you shoot, you will be asked by no less than three different people why you shot, in the first two hours. God help you if you add or miss a single detail to one of those people. If you have to shoot, cooperate, fallow commands, and tell them nothing: get a lawyer.

    Actually, in AZ concealed carry is a constitutional right. It was granted by an amendment not a law. So while that right can be taken away from people that break the law, it is in fact a right!

    I love the old west..... I mean Arizona.
