It's less Tacoma and more mod
Truck pool doesn't work well with Tacomas, stock suspension can hold a soggy napkin at most. An inch of water would put it on the bumpstops.

Who's got relentless bed bars? I'm having a hard time finding good pictures of a 1st gen with a tent mounted.

So all my stuff doesn't get wet! I hate sleeping in a puddle:angrygirl:

    :rofl::yes:

The seal refuses to stay uniform along the length of the bed/cap. I've even had it reinstalled and it immediately reverted to pulling in at some places and bulging out at others. To be fair, I'm sure that the majority of water that enters the bed is from through the holes in the frame-rail/wheel-well (Don't worry, I'm sealing them as well!) That being said, I wanted to go whole hog, as I sleep in the bed. So, there's that.

Also, just to vent quickly.. the cap that I bought was advertised as coming with a wrap-around fiberglass rail. Here's the twist: It didn't. Thanks for that, Snugtop. Rude bastards.

You sir, are killing it. Keep up the good work!:)

We needs gif as well. @greeneggsnspam I CHOOSE YOU!

Fuck my plans, I'm doing this now. Bed pool FTW. Ladies, clad thine selves in bikinis and get here stat. Also, bring beer.

Good thing I upgraded to dakars with AAL and nitros;)

Added a flag pole holder. That counts right? I think at this point I'm just looking for junk to weld without buying metal.

I think that is more of a "hang your food so the bears don't get to it mod"

I attempted and failed miserably to dip my wheel so it has a black face and polished lip.

Glad I only wasted time on one wheel. Peeled it off right after taking this pic.

Yeah with plasti dip you pretty much have to peel tape up while it's still wet

I'm still looking for some wheels that style.
Yeah it's not worth that for several coats. These wheels are so hard to tape because there aren't any sharp edges. Plus dipping the inside of the holes is even harder.
    I removed it for you

What he said. The outer ring of chrome/silver was a nice accent to the inner black....

I lemming along and ordered an AFE 30-10026 for my 1st Gen.
I set it up in Fuely as The Tacovator

I discovered that the rear BF Goodriches have the wear bar even with the tread.
The dealer had put a couple General Grabber HTS 60s on the front. So I ordered a couple from TireRack today.
