I don't think they failed, but the guy installing the strap-on put it in the wrong hole...Hmm....I know what he was thinking hehe!

Sorry if this has been previously documented.. I couldn't find in search.

There are black strips (some kind of decal type plastic material) between both doors on double cabs (front and rear) and was curious what this is for? I was tempted to remove, but was unsure if it was painted underneath? 2nd gens did not have this and prefer that look. Thoughts?

 

Lots of people removing it. Just normal paint underneath.

 

It's painted. Purely cosmetic and protective against keys and fingers

 

Gas Cap is fine

 

Loaded her up for a delivery lol. 4 drums of oil, surprised it fit.

Def won't be doing this again unless i get an aal or airbag assist.

 

I have a double cab TRD Off Road automatic and I'm getting 19-20mpg in mixed traffic. Use to be closer to 17 but now that it's a bit warmer and I have more miles, the engine is running much better.

 

Debadged it, Plastidipped the grill, put a sticker on and gave it a good wash and wax. Had 72 degrees in Ohio today - gotta take advantage of it while it's here, itcould snow 3 days from now.

 

Which bull bar did you go with? Would you mind posting a picture from the side?
