Stone mountain is only about 45 min from me. I never have much luck there though. I'll have a few really good hits and miss them and then nothing. I did manage to catch a copper head on a small popping bug last year though.. didn't know there were any smallies up there though

I still have a clunking sound in my front end occasionally that seems to be speed bump/bump related. if it is the UCA's can I just replace the bushings or is that something that's better off just being fully replaced? @ahspurlock

So, who here turkey hunts. Just like every spring for the last 20+, I'm getting excited. I'm a fanatic. I hunt every day of the season unless there are BAD storms. I really hate the state of SC for reducing the tags to 3 this year. One of the main reasons that I agreed to move to SC was because they had a 5 bird limit. May have to move to TN now! :D

I do! best time of the year! I hate my job because our boat season starts when turkey season starts. I usually only 5 or 6 days in the woods now... but god do I love the sound of a gobbler going off 50 yards away at the ass crack of dawn!

Me too!! There is just nothing better. I even make my own calls. Google "MKW Trumpets" and you will see lots of pictures of calls I have built. I haven't built any in over a year since moving into the new house. I need to get out there and straighten up the shop so I can get back to it.

you don't need an RTT! just get a normal tent. way less expensive and you don't have to worry about raccoons tickling your nuts while youre hanging in the air above them!

I hunt 99% WMAs. Occasionally, I'll get an invite to some private land, but not very often.
