It sounds wonderful to me. I Got the regular 40 series flowmaster.

You can hear it in the cab pretty well. Some people don't like that... I love it lol.. The delta flow 40 is not as aggressive if your not wanting as much sound.

i have the delta and you can still hear it in the cab its just a hair quieter that the original super 40 that you have.

 

This might be the dumb question of the day, but do you use those as steps as well as for protection? They seem too close to the body to use as steps.

 

Not my truck but those steps bolt right on the body, not frame. They're on Amazon pretty cheap.

 

Did you notice an mpg increase?

 

no. if i went with a 2.5" exhaust system im sure i would like i did in my old truck. stock pipes are 2.25" i may go with 2.5" in the future

 

Dealer in Carson Ca had them for $10 bucks that was the best deal I found, have you tried your dealer?

Not my truck either. But those are weld or bolt on Sliders, not steps. They can be used as steps. But their main purpose is protecting the truck while off-roading.

 

They got room to use as step but I don't use it to get in. They make them with less angle. Honestly I wish I had ordered ones that were flush but these will work.

 

What tire size are you running?

 

Installed my front rail and tie down brackets today.

I bought my truck to haul motorcycles and these are perfect for me!
