What rail did you get for the front of the bed? Did you mount it under the factory tonneau cover bar on the 2016's? Any more pics?

The 2015 rail works fine. Take off the 5 screws that hold on the upper bulkhead and it screws right on.

    Hi Brett,

The front rail PN is: PT278-35100-BH (it's the same front bed rail as the 2nd gen trucks)

I *hear* they didn't include it on the 3rd gen because it gets in the way of the factory Tonneau. I have no way of verifying that claim.

    Here is another pic:

Hey! When you put the front bed rail on was it parallel with the sides or did it sit a tad lower? Kinda hard to tell from the pics but looking at my bed it looks like the front one may be a bit lower even snugged up against the bottom of the tonneau rail.

It was parallel with the side rails if that's the question.

The tie down brackets would not fit if they were higher or lower than the side rails.

If you have the factory Tonneau, then it may not be parallel with the side rails.

Is there any advantage to having the bull bar snugged up against the bumper like that? I have mine more parallel to the bumper. Just curious. Thanks.

Not really, other than the fact it's harder to clean the lower bumper lol. I did it that way because the curvature of the bend. If I make it more parallel to the front like you suggested, it would lower the curvature closer to the road and I would lose ground clearance.

Got the FREE 5,000 mile service done.

It amounted to rotating the tires and resetting the service light.

    Took 45 minutes.

The wrap isn't done yet. All the paint will be covered. That portion of the truck will have flat black vinyl on the rockers and lower portion of the tailgate. I'll also be installing some Bushwacker Pocket Flares when they become available.

Your truck looks awesome! By far the coolest 3rd gen:thumbsup: Your truck makes me really want to wrap mine in camo. How well does the wrap hold up being scraped by brush and trees offroad?

Surprisingly better than paint. I had my last wrap for 6 years and it didn't have a single tear in it. I didn't baby it either... Protects the paint like nothing else.

That's awesome! Do you mind me asking how much it cost you to do that and how hard is it to install? When you sold your other truck does it just peel off cleanly?

You can definitely use it with the factory tonneau. I had the dealer add it to mine and there are no issues.
