At the top of the coil is a rubber spacer, you really don't have to crank them up much more to get the 3" lift and they still have plunty of movement both up and down. I don't rock crawl with this truck, it's my tow vehicle and it will tow at 85 mph with no problems at all.

You will have to trim with 285s, just a little bit.

I ordered mine before they were on the market, I now have almost 20K on them, I think for the money and ride quality, you can't go wrong. Let me look for more pics of this setup.

Nice. I did settle on a ome kit with 90000 firm shocks 887 coils with the dakar leaf packs. Just trying to decide on tires. But i might go with the fox kit now.

Id go with Ironman Foam Cell Pro's. The Price is excellent, rebuildable, and massive 2.5" shock bodies and adjustable.

    Too many to list now.
Having spent thousands on my own suspension and having installed both kits, they are both great. You'll be happy with either. OME may not be rebuildable but I've not seen one fail up here. They are VERY well constructed shocks and for the price, you can't beat them. That being said if you want something that is more adjustable and allows you to dial in your ride by swapping valving around then the Fox's are a good way to go for you. I was absolutely floored the first time I picked up a customers truck from the alignment shop after doing OME on all four corners. Less than two grand installed for leaf packs and shocks all the way around. Couldn't believe how great the truck felt. Honest opinion.

You can see on the threads that they were only cranked up about 1 inch from where they come preset at.

do you think I can get away with cranking them to 3" w/o replacing the UCAs right away? I'd be on the pavement until the UCAs were replaced too.

From what I understand, if you go up to 3", with stock arms, it's hard to get it aligned if at all. Some trucks do and some dont. Also some have said the truck feels like it wants to wander on the road. I went with the SPC LR arms becomes they are adjustable and my alignment is right at factory specs with the 3". Truck will tow my Jeep at 80 to 85 with no wondering at all. You just have to find an alignment shop that knows how to set them up. I worked with my shop, gave them a great write up from TW on how to set them up. My truck is set up for towing and light offroading. I use the Jeep to crawl on the rocks. Any questions, please ask and good luck with your build.
