Why go to Southern for that? What made you choose there over say KSU (formally SPSU)? That's where I go for Mechanical right now and I love it

That place is a party palace. Many people enter...only a few survive. I went there once as a freshman at Georgia State to visit a friend. It was wild.

Yeah, that's around where my sister-in-law always sees it. She lives on Keys Ferry and sees it a the gas station a lot. I still haven't seen it.

Believe it or not the engineering program at gsu is good and one of the top programs in the state. And yeah there's a lot of parties but that's expected with the amount of kids that go there

Best advice I can give you is don't take Friday classes. Most folks don't know it before going to college, but party night is Thursday night. If you can be good and stay out of trouble all week, go out and party Thursday! Most everyone goes home on the weekends, so college towns are usually dead Fri-Sun.

1st semester of law school, my classes were Mon, Wed, and Fri night from 6:15-9:30

Now it's Mon morning from 9-1 and all day Wed from 9a-9p...Still sucks, but at least I'm only up there at night one day a week. Next semester, I'm shooting for all morning classes

That Friday would've sucked. I'd show up to class with a cooler and start drinking once it's over haha

Meh it's an ok location. There's really only one thing to do right there and that's Cabelas. No where close by for us to all eat unless we want to battle traffic and go to Barrett Pwky :frusty:

Uh a Shonies, La Bamba, Wendys, Zaxbys, super small Waffle House and a McDonalds. If we go to Barrett Pkwy there's Chili's, On the Border, Twin Peaks, a nice sports bar that I can't remember the name of. Among others.
