    Having the brake light is on is serious because the ECU went into a more critical fault mode. In this state you don't have brake force distribution, so you can potentially lock up the rear wheels easily in a sudden stop. So you need to really take care of it and not ignore it. This makes me think something happened to both front wheel speed sensors. One sensor would only set the ABS light. Check to see how they look. If ok unplug them and see if water got in the connector. If so you may can dry them out and they'll be ok.
