I swear, I would finance one next week if it was FI, 440cc+, had a 6th gear, and was under 300lbs.

I ride a Yamaha Midnight Star, a Yamaha FZ-01 and a KTM 640 Adventure. I am kinda lucky...I teach a course on the summer month weekends so I get to do what I love and help others.
Most of the salt is still on our roads here, so I have only dragged the KTM out. But damn, spring is a comin!!

Sounds suspiciously like a KTM to me.

In all seriousness sounds like a Yamaha WR450R is your cup of tea; though I don't know the weight on one of those offhand. Or if they are a 6 spd.

So not quite a ktm. More like a bigger drz

 

Won't buy a KTM, probably not even a Husky.
