Not going to comment on your sobriety, but your eyes do not lie to you. Valving piston disintegrated, blowing the seal and allowing the shaft to have plenty of play within the shock body.

You gotta make sure the white lettering is showing on the outside.. that's the ticket.

Yeah, pretty hard on them for about 20k miles. They put up a good fight, but I definitely pushed them beyond their limits. Hence the switch to kings with my last upgrade. But you certainly pay the price for the quality and performance.

Well I think I've made the decision that I'm swapping wheels so I would have thsee wheels for sale then...But that's also if I were to put the 1st gen back to stock. Cause I think a 3 inch lifted taco with 265/70/16 plastic dipped rugged fails would look really bad!! :rofl:20160309_164634.jpg

I'm not that hard on my truck. It's a daily driver/family truck that gets to go hunting and wheeling every now and then. As much as I would love to drop the coin on some serious suspension... I just can't justify the means..

Dude some 16 year old kid would eat it up on Craigslist. I'd help you swap them out too. Just let me know. One service member to another? Yeah I played that card.

I nearly dropped $2.5k on stage 4 icon setup. Wife told me if I bought it, BJs would suddenly cost $250 a session. BJs over suspension for me right now.

I would love to splooge on a setup like that as well, but good man. BJ's are pretty nice. And paying $250 a shot would SUCK.

I vote for these rims on your 2nd gen, the ones currently on it.

Also aftermarket parts on my past 1st gen helped it stand out from stock trucks. Although some people prefer all stock.
