I'm with tigerfan go with seat covers, I'd go with Wet Okole if you have the money.. otherwise you can get something cheaper that still functions.

hmmm, still i think seat covers are the best option even if you're trading it in, prevents anything else from happening.. I'm not sure how to get rid of it, I mean you could try the sharpie idea but I'm not sure how that would pan out, might just make it worse..

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
    1. Try this product, it's cheap at $13 bucks. Probably doesn't work very well? But might be good enough for what you're looking for.

    2. If my 1st idea doesn't work then you could always drop $100 at an upholstery shop. They will cut out that whole section of the seat fabric and replace it.. they can and will match it amazingly well. You'll never know anything ever happened. If you were gonna keep your truck then I'd suggest this definitely. And, you can always go this route if idea 1 above doesn't work satisfactorily.

    3. Seat covers. Great idea to protect the seats on your next truck but why buy them for a truck you are selling? Plus, if I buy a vehicle with seat covers I always suspiciously take them off the seats and inspect those seats pretty closely. It's gonna be obvious you are hiding some damage. Don't even bother trying this idea.. but keep in mind for your replacement truck. Seat covers work really well preventatively :)

Maybe just post on the for sale setion. There have been a handful of people that have ordered leather kits and may still have the OEM fabric.

seat covers, or try to find some sort of colour match product, or just wait, it will fade as the seat wears. My buddy dropped the cherry off the joint he was smoking on my seat and left a little burn. It was really noticable for awhile but very hard to see now. This happened about 8 months ago

Are you trading the truck in at the dealership? If so, they don't look for things like that. Put something on the seat to cover it up - coat, some books, CD case, etc. When they go to evaluate your truck for trade-in value, I doubt they will move these objects to check for holes in the seat.

If you are selling in on the open market, spend $50 and get semi-customized seat covers on eBay. I just bought some for my wife's Jeep from weewillywonka (sellers name on ebay). He has a decent selection and they only run $50 shipped. They are customized to each vehicle and are not just universal fit.

Also, if the mark is back and you are worried about it, just use a grey paint marker and cover it up.
