    Ehh that's the whole debate
I do like the long bed at times but I think I can live without it. I'm a people person, I love spending time with friends and offroading with them, since most of them dont have vehciles that can off road they have to hop in mine.

I'm not worried bout the dirt bike lol, told my friend that if I get a 4runner he is going to have to pay for the attachment that allows me to carry his bike hahaha

    Stranger things have happened
Right?! I have a hole in my firewall that mud comes through and gets it all over my shoes and interior. Does that stop me from grenading through a puddle? HELL NO! I actually created my own mini mud puddle in my cab one time :D

@MuricaTaco yo, well I love my double cab, no one really rides with me much anyway but I like having the option. And it's great for camping because I tend to overpack (insert stereotypical female joke) and the extra space is nice. I'll get a single or access cab when I build a crawler in a million years, but I digress.

It seems as though youve already answered yourself, If you want to be able to bring people with you then definitely get the DC. Of course 1st gen is smaller than 2nd, but not by too much. It's really a matter of your budget, someone wrote this earlier, and he's right, you can find some nice 1st gens with a 15k budget, or a 2nd gen with some dings and high mileage. But I think we can all tell you have a soft spot for a 1st gen
