hey does the stock jbl system have the feature when you drive faster the music gets louder?

Is there a way to set that? Because mine dosen't get louder when I speed up.

I have the stock JBL too. I just read through the audio section of the owner's manual and found no mention on ASL. How do you activate and set it?

 

This is probably a stupid question but how do you tell the JBL form the non JBL. Mine came with the 6 CD changer, but I replaced in a while ago and don't really remember seeing JBL written on it??

 

JBl will have the JBL logo on the head unit and on the door grills, at least on my '08





and I think the ASL might only be on the '09's as a new feature, but I am not sure

 

I believe only the 09 models have the ASL feature.

ASL -
Push the right side knob - cycle thru the bas trebel etc until you get to ASL.
Set it to Off, low med high.

I have found that unless it is set to high it is sort of unnoticable.
It also depends on the frequency range of the audio: voice is not as noticeable as jazz, classical not as noticeable as head-banger or that other stuff that you are forced to listen to at stop signs emmanating from a vehical six cars back.
