Ah too bad, I didn't know if you would try to turn your sport in for another loaner.

You most likely have the issue with the front needle bearing. Search the forum for needle bearing vibration, it may help you.

you are not thinking very clearly

it is a waste of time since:

the mechanism and network is already in place to satisfy consumer complaints and remedy issues,
the dealership network. toyota needs hands on a defective product by trained technicians, not
some dope on a forum spewing garbage

there are more morons posting idiotic shit on forums that would be useless wild goose chases to
try to interact and diagnose anything. some don't even own a tacoma yet post up 'issues'

of course there are toyota reps and techs on these forums, but for anything to get accomplished,
they are the ones who personally take the time to look at a probable complaint, then go out and
try it on a truck on the lot....NOT a reaction to the forums directly...but they may reproduce the issue
and then bring it in house.

Toyota does NOT want to interact with this sea of idiots on these forums, it is a waste of time...
but if you are a proven paying customer and proving it by bringing your problem direct to a dealer, Toyota is all ears

if a bunch of people drive back to dealership and lodge official complaints, then THAT is what gets real action

could you just imagine engineers lining up to engage with someone like [B***T] about anything automotive ? they'd rather kill themselves

Not sure if yours is the same vibe we are speaking about; however, as several have posted earlier, the vibes do seem somewhat dampened when the vehicle is in 4WD and are definitely more, at least in mine, when in 2WD. The vibes, however, are not gone, the tingly buzzy feeling is just less, probably because the front drive is absorbing some of the harmonics. JMHO.

Personally I think reverse engineering a 40K new generation Tacoma is bass ackwards. Do you really believe Toyota corporate and engineering were unaware pre-production that they had a problem ? Shit, when Ford's was 2 weeks away from launching the 50th anniversary Mustang the engineers discovered they had a "vibration problem in the steering wheel and gas pedal" the engineering found the problem and fixed it before it left the barn, in less than 2 weeks...see the documentary 'A Faster Horse' if you doubt.

Your correct about some people not thinking very clearly... In the Edo period in Japan, a few bosses in the pre-production engineering team would be given the option of seppuku or the beheading. nuff said

if there is a problem I am sure toyota is working on a tsb currently and will release one when

cost of tsb per tech is calculated and understood
parts are available to fix it

Fix what? No one here has identified the cause.

I think very clearly thank you. It is just a nice gesture IMHO. I agree that it probably does not accomplish much but I tend to view a manufacture in a little better light than one who's public presence is completely silent on a matter where there is such frustration, that's all.

Your statement suggested someone here has to find the cause in order for Toyota to fix it.

In 2012 I made the mistake of selling my low milage 2002 Tundra, to buy a jeep to use as an RV toad. I have been miserable and promised myself that I would buy a 2016 Tacoma Sport.

Everything that I'm reading is causing me to look elsewhere.
I have had many toyotas over the years and only one with quirky issues.

My tundra also had a vibration. Fortunately a good friend was the service manager and went the extra mile to find the problem. Turned out to be the rear axels that weren't quite right. He replaced them and the vibration went away. He never could fix the clunk. If you have it you will know what I'm talking about.

Now it is a waiting game. If Toyota steps up and accepts that this is a problem, I'll hang in there. If not I'll be looking at the '17 Ridgeline and Fronteir.
4wheeling isn't a priority any more,,, light hauling and snow are my concerns.

Kudos to you guys that are dealing with this issue and trying to find a solution for the rest of us.

is 100% present when you walk into a Toyota dealership.

On the internets, here on these forums, it is the wild west, and no major billion dollar corporation
is going to continue making them billions, if they send an army to get mired in internet forum bullshit

Toyota is ready to send a regional rep to your local dealer and discuss your particular unresolvable
    problem directly. These forums tho...pfffffffffffft

Took my truck in for transmission hesitation when cold and dealer recommended higher octane gas to mitigate trans issues. I went along to prove him wrong and discovered that after 2 tanks of 93 octane, the previous minor buzz at 2300 rpm's was almost impossible to detect. The trans issues were unaffected by the 93 octane, but the dealer later added fluid and resolved those too. Doubt that 93 octane is a solution for the trucks with serious vibe issue, but it did away with mine.

Have you ever heard a vehicle without an exhaust?
