Yeah, don't understand what's complicated about that haha

Realistically I could have paid it off back in August or September, and looking back I wish I would have. Oh well. All the money I get from the Honda will just go towards mods for the next bike probably haha

You just worded it weird. Made it sound like you were just starting payments.

Are you really thinking wr450? Or what?

Ah, no. I originally decided to just let it ride out so I have something out there that I can make payments on something over a long period of time. But, I'd rather get a new bike haha

Yeah, planning on a 2016 WR450F depending on the price I can get one for by then. Hoping they didn't change the wiring much so all of the stuff I need to do to make it street legal is similar to the 12-15 models. They don't have supermoto wheels for them yet, but I know they will very soon.

I meant as in Honda CRF450x. Same boat as Yamaha as far as I know, you'd have to convert it.

That'd be the only other 450 i'd consider converting

Same here. Both are pretty bulletproof for the most part.

Its the CRF450R that would be problematic on the street. Its too much racecar (actually racebike)

We've talked about this already. Supermoto wheels and low seat bring it to the same height as my Honda stock.
Yeah I've heard good things about them. Plan to ride one before I buy as well.
Reliability isn't quite as good as Yamaha from what I've heard. Also the 450X is still carbed for some dumb reason. That's a big reason I want the WR as well.

You'll still want a lowering link though....

Oh wow i didn't know they were still carb'd. WR is the clear option then, unless you feel like converting a racebike.

We'll see. I'd rather just adjust the preload before I get a lowering link this time. My Honda feels much better with the lowering link gone even with it's crappy suspension.

I think if I could handle my 320lb bike with a 35" seat height when I was a brand new rider, then I can handle a 270lb bike with a 35" seat height now.
Yeah, Honda 450X is carbed with decent maintenance, Honda 450R is fuel injected but has motocross maintenance...

The only thing I know I won't like about a WR450F is that they are still 5-speed. Meanwhile their 250 variants all have 6-speed. Dumb.

Yea thats dumb. Although it is a wide ratio so it probably makes up for it. Depending on if i feel like splitting cases i may buy the wide ratio kit for the drz

Yeah, a lot of people seem to be okay with it. Either way it's still way more power. Would just take a lot of getting used to missing a gear haha
