I'm getting ready to do this edge trim mod to my light bar. I've heard different methods. Some people put the trim all the way across the bar why others just do segments. Which technique is getting the better results?

I'm just curious to what the purpose is of this? This will definitely decrease the fins ability to cool down the light.

It cuts back on the howling that these 50" light bars create.

This is the setup I've been looking for. I want to stuff 285's in there using only the King OEM replacements. I don't mind a little trimming here or there. Might go with the gunmetal grey TRD wheels... Other than the King OEM replacements is there any other lift you added?

So online when building with the black trd interior is shows black handles and air vents. Does anyone actually have this? So these chrome parts would be black?

The method I use is use it all the way across, with the light bar cooling down its no problem. I work for a led company Cali Raised Led and yes it's meant for cooling the bar down, but I can leave my bar on for hours and it would never get hot.

Yes I had the same vision. It works very well. Like you I assumed I would have to do some trimming, it needs a little on each side, and the CMC done which I have scheduled. But no lift other than king fronts. I didn't change preload either. So yes they will fit just fine.

I will check the can when I get home and get back to you on that. It does appear pretty damn close in person though as well.

I've not really looked at this, put up a picture... got me curious but I'm not near my truck at the moment.
