FYI, RDC guys are usually pretty vocal if the build doesn't involve fabrication and components not available off-the-shelf.

    Generally speaking:
    TW is showy but knowledgeable.
    TTORA is function over form.
    RDC is the big leagues.

My truck is nothing compared to most of the vehicles on that site. Expect a bumpy ride over there. ;)

    Most aren't sponsored.

Many of the show-and-tell type stuff consists of grandiose builds. Trophy trucks, class 1 buggies, full-race trucks and cars, etc. Consider that the Desert Assassins, Robbie Gordon, the McMillen family, Jesse James, etc. are regularly contributing members and you start to get a feel for what's expected. A custom CB mount isn't noteworthy. A custom long-travel suspension or rollcage build is.

It's a fantastic site for information. Some of the most skilled people around are on there and openly offer their help to other members.

Robbie Gordon and Jesse James are regularly contributing members?!?!?!
:spy:maybe I can send them my new sweet mixtape and they can get me a record deal:spy:

Just kidding, but that's really cool. Is it a highly active site?

For desert racing, absolutely. I just go there for information.

Did you paint the emblems or purchase black ones? I'd love to do that to my Tacoma.

I painted them. Follow NumNutz writeup on how to remove the emblems and how to properly paint them
