Picked up a new spark plug, inspection plug gasket, and crush washer, and ordered a CCT gasket.

Time to clean this bitch up.

New tires go on next week.

    Leaking.

Swapped the ACCT (auto) for an MCCT (manual) and didn't put a new gasket in. About 1500 miles later, it started leaking. Has been leaking for a while now. Not a drip, just a small trace of oil. I don't allow my shit to leak, so i'm replacing the gasket.

Thinking I may need to swap in a manual tensioner on mine as well. A few people have had failures and say they heard faint rattling before it failed. I'm starting to hear more rattling from mine I think. Or I'm just being paranoid.

The spark plug is due at 7500, i'm at 7210 now. Just figured i'd get one now and make sure its gapped right.

It'll go in when the valves get checked/adjusted around 7500

I swear mine rattles less with the MCCT

My buddy at the bike shop told me they've had failures early because that auto tensioner kept the chain too tight. I'm glad i put one in.

    Hope @Sacrifice installed his.

Your chain automatically adjusts its tension stock?

What is the difference between a cam chain and a normal chain? Still educating myself on motorcycle engines and parts.

Cam as in camshaft. Connects the crank and camshafts together keeping them in sync. Within the motor.
