Nope, about to hop in the shower. I'm disgusting. Probably won't drive it tonight, work tomorrow so I'll drive it there. Still need my panhard in plus alignment

No but I plan on being back in there this summer, may at that point. I'll tighten these in 500 miles and hope that'll be all I need

I've never pulled apart an engine before and I don't feel like trying this job on my own. From all the research I had done previously it was supposed to be this big pain in the ass job that requires you to pull the engine out and all this crazy shit. I know most head gaskets are easy to do but according to every shop this one is the nightmare one. I honestly have no clue, but it is getting done soon Just bought all the parts I think I'll need. As far as the warpage it is possible shit's been damaged. Pretty sure some of the valves are destroyed and who knows what else. I just didn't want to start getting it fixed until I enough money saved up in case the worst happened and I had time to screw around with it.
Ehh not really. 3rd gen might be better for him so I'm not gonna spend my time trying to convince him that the 2nd gen is better. I still get a win for getting him to go 4runner

For him and only because he's concerned with mpg. I think the 2nd gens tailgate would serve him batter though

It would. I'd like the 3rd gen a lot more if it had one. I think he really needs that tailgate though for when he's hauling stuff though. That's one of the main things keeping him away from the 4runner is what he can put back there

With the seats down you can fit a lot back there. The tailgate helps load stuff but I like it for sitting on and hanging out.

Yeah I know. But if you have something really long like a log, you're gonna have the hatch bouncing and smashing into the log. Danny and I have witnessed that first hand lol

If I wanted to put logs in my 4Runner I would get a trailer or truck lol

He took the drawers out long before we started moving. Either way he wasn't too happy about the damage the hatch took though
Agree lol. There are other examples like fridges and what not but I find the log example funny because of the back story lol
I will change you mind yet lol

Which is what happened pretty much what it game down to lol. I was in the Tundra so we threw it into the bed. I'd do that in my 4runner though because I don't really care. If I want a car to look pretty I'll get a sports car... oh wait :D
