...considering all of the issues people have been experiencing. You would think there would be at least a couple 6 months in.

Toyota is very slow to come out with TSB's... unless its directly connected to safety and people can actually die from it ... and be proved by the NTSB.. don't hold your breath!

Considering how many trucks have been sold vs how many have issues, that percentage is low. Also, TSBs come from dealers reporting issues, and by the looks of it, only a few dealers are actually looking into the low trans fluid, others are calling it normal. Also, something such as low trans fluid will begin to be corrected at the factory, and no TSB needed. So far the only issue talked about on here that may need a TSB would be the howling from the ¨ocarina¨ installed, and that would only be if they find a fix, otherwise it would be a recall to have the part replaced with an updated design.

Looking back, it looked like 2005 Tacomas has quite a few TSBs by this point.

The 2016 Toyota Tacoma is perfect in every way. That's why there are no new TSBs

Bought brand new trucks and you are already looking for blood and hand outs from Toyota? What exactly are you expecting a TSB for?

I think with a site like TacomaWorld, you're dealing with a very small subset of enthusiasts from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd gen crowd. We will find problems, or perceived problems and post about it here, then others will find issues as well, etc. If you take the total number of members here and compare it to the total sales of Tacoma's in general, we represent a very very small percentage of the population. Most people will not notice, or even care about the issues that are raised here in this forum.

Over time you'll have TSB's released, but it's going to take a number of years before that happens (just my guess).

The 2nd Gen TSB's cost Toyota a lot of money. They mitigated the cost by charging a premium for 3rd gens. For this, I thank all of you. ;)

Fortunately my job gives me access to all Lexus and Toyota service bulletins as they are released.

Over 50,000 trucks sold..... Even extrapolated to the ownership numbers in this section , the issues seem to be far and few between

There are people who don't join forums that may have one of our issues but does not know or care if it is an issue. I don;t care what vehicle I own, Browsing forums is always sobering.......But really there has been very few issues. Toyota is probably sorting them out now.

The biggest is the vibration issue. Then there is the rebooting radio,

Shifting is not an issue for most. Noises are not an issue for most.

Gotcha, yeah I figured you worked in the auto industry. If you see the 1st TSB posted for the 3rd gens, please be sure to post!

Wow, didn't even know. All of the public sites don't show a single TSB being available for the '16's yet. Maybe they're just inaccurate. I'm waiting to see if they're gonna post one for the vibration issue in the steering wheel and gas pedal that many of us are experiencing.

Somebody asked the question about what would you expect a TSB for. I would have expected one for the 3/4 qt low trans fluid and another for the vibrating hood/missing panel adhesive. Both of them would be so easy for dealerships to fix, although both could require an overnight visit to the dealer. These are apparently very common problems. Yeah, neither one will kill you, but in the long term, one could affect the drivetrain and the other the body/paint integrity. I am very disappointed with the total lack of corporate response. Not one f'in word! And yes, my truck came with both issues. Out of the 11 new vehicles my wife and I have bought, we have never had such assembly defects with any of them.
