Got a spare 285 tire KO2 last night. It seems to be to big to fit under the stock location. I might have to weld a new exhaust hanger to make it fit. I bent the tabs back but still not fitting right. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thought about it but wanted something long term. I already have a toolbox back there and at least want some kind of bed space. Also under the bed would help with theft.

Check out Crom's build. Page 21. He has a 33 under there but had to move the spare tire hanger back because the tire was contacting the rear diff under compression. Probably want to check that.

Yeah I have no doubt. The thing that matters is next weekend. That's why I mention the sunny days next week. They are literally the only park I've ever been to that closes for long periods of time due to weather. A couple years ago we even offered to go through the park with chain saws cuttin up trees and clearing trails because that's what dude told us the problem was. Then that turned into it was just too muddy. Then that turned into a bald eagle sex factory government protection extravaganza. No telling what they may say this time. I know I'll be calling to ask about it on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and be callin to tell them 20 trucks are coming somewhere to LBL on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and hope they don't miss out on $1000+ to help "fix" their park. Haha

I'm chompin' at the bit to get out and do some wheelin', but old age has taught me to do things when the conditions are a little better. There's still hope that it'll dry up some, but it isn't looking too promising. Guess I may end up going into town and driving around the mall parking lot or some such....I hear conditions are perfect there.

Got the Airstream ready to rock! I ended up making a deal to buy it from my friend who did most of the resto....The wife and me, and our 3 dawgs are "camping" in the driveway tonight as sort of a trial run. All I have left to do is to give a tune up to the generator before we take it on the road. More excited about getting the camper out than I am any part of this.

It's crazy that here in BG we've maybe had an 1" of rain all week. Most of it came yesterday and last night. An hour and a half to the west and they've picked up rain everyday this week.

We didn't get a lot until yesterday. But the ground was saturated here BEFORE the rain hit. Yesterday we got about 1-1/4" in one 8 hour stretch. . My back yard is literally the highest point in the county.....We live on a road by the name of Hilltop....And we have water standing everywhere. I can't imagine what the low ground is like.

Ive been watching the 10 weather forecast. Rains are supposed to stop monday morning/early afternoon-ish. Next weekend still looks decent. Hopefully it will dry up a bit in time and the park stays open.
