Sales guy called and said come get your truck! Went to the bank and got a cashier's check, was on my way to CarMax to sell my car, he calls back and said the one that came in didn't have any of the packages I ordered. WTF!!!! He is damn lucky I didn't sell my current ride. I said, well where the hell is my truck then? He has to call me back. Clusterfuck.

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping
I'm right there with your guys! I ordered my 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro the Monday after it was released on instagram (sat). I was the first in my state to pre-order it. Getting it in Cement gray and trying to have it included with a sun roof, but there will only be a few with sun roofs. It's supposed to be here in Aug-Oct. I already have a parts list adding up Lol

Put my $500 deposit down on 27 January, build date 28 January, delivered via dealer swap on 7 March. Not waiting anymore! Very satisfied with the whole purchasing experience at Titus-Will in Tacoma WA, working with Dan Kerns (Internet Sales Mgr). He got me the truck I wanted, the price I wanted, and had me in and out of the dealership within an hour. No pressure, well-informed on the Taco's features. Good communicator throughout the purchase process. I started my search by contacting 30 Toyota dealers, and Dan was the most responsive and professional.

Thanks to this forum for letting me know to check for the tailgate key (attached to spare fob), backup camera plug (glove box), water in the license plate lights (nope), underhood adhesive failure (nope), overfender detachment (nope), steering wheel buzz @ 2100 rpm (nope), hesitation when shifting R to D when cold (not so far), dent by the gas fill door (nope). I'll check/grease my driveline and torque the U-bolts and U-joint yokes this weekend.

I ordered mine Oct 29th but it took until about 3 weeks ago for the BOS change to be accepted. Build date the last week of this month. There are a lot of variables that affect how short or long your wait will be.

Playing the waiting game over here in Pasadena.

Found my '04 TRD Taco last weekend in San Diego at a Toyota dealership with only 25k miles, they listed it Friday night and I was down there from LA first thing Saturday morning to buy it lol.

Waiting on them to do their full inspection + 3rd party inspection, supposed to be ready for me by the weekend.

    It's been a long week :(

I would be going through Cars.com and finding exactly the truck you are looking for. Then send it to your dealer and tell them to make it happen...no excuses. And for sure open a complaint with Toyota. When a dealer screws up like that, they will hopefully help you get something for your trouble.

Yup. Something similar happened with me when I got my Scion several years ago. Asked the dealer if they could make up for it by throwing in the fog lights and TRD exhaust and they said yes. Just have to ask.

I like that checklist! Is dent next to gas fill door a thing? What the backup camera plug?

I would start waterboarding someone. Then start a destruction of the dealerships social media acct.

It's been reported by at least one person on this forum.

Covers your backup camera connection if you remove the tailgate.

I ordered my DCSB OR with 6spd stick shift with Premium and Technology and Tow. The truck that arrived was OR with stick, but no options at all. Completely stripped, no options, no packages. I don't often spend this much money for a vehicle, as a matter of fact I am pushing 50 years old and have only owned 5 vehicles in my life. I want what I ordered. To the dealers credit, they said that it was totally their fault and are willing to do whatever it takes to make it right. But, it means another 8-12 weeks of waiting after I have been waiting 8 weeks already. To say I was upset was an understatement.
