    I see that, i was saying that you should use 191 south through Utah. Amazing and beautiful road that will take you over Flaming Gorge dam and into a valley where they found Dinasour bones. It will also take you through Moab, Hole in rock and Monument Valley. These are all must see places.

    Yup, not that the stuff around St George/Hurricane/Zion isn't impressive, but the contrast of US-191 (Moab, Monument Valley) compared to the Rockies will be impressive.

    All of Utah that I have seen is beautiful but that drive we took from Gillette Wyoming to Phoenix via the 191 was breathtaking. My lady and I sat out on the boat docks in front of the dam at sunset and watched huge fish jump out of the water to catch flies. There was even an eagle skimming the water.

    I want to go back one day and visit that again.
