Nah, not necessary. These suckers are strong. I haven't actually seen any with gussets, have you?

Yep. About 99% of the ones made by vendors are gusseted at the legs. Keeps them from bending in to the body panels with a good solid drop or hit.

Can't say I've actually seen one up close from a vendor then, just pictures and haven't noticed. I really don't think this Schedule 40 pipe is going to have any trouble haha.

Sch 40? Not dom or hrew? Interesting. What's wall thickness on that?

Off the top of my head its 1 1/2" Schedule 40 that measures 1 7/8" outside diameter and wall thickness is a little over 1/8"

Ok correction, he does plan to add gussets to the square "legs" tonight. I didn't even consider it, but apparently he did haha. Thanks for keeping me in check though @TacoFMS he is waiting to add them after we mount because with the 4" mounting plate the gussets will have to be partially mounted to the frame and partially mounted to the plate.

You had to switch over to 24v to get over that didn't you?

I think I was able to just turn left and gas it off. You can see the rock falls away to the inside, so it didn't to much. That corner of the slider was holding the tire off the ground though.

I love the look and platform they make. They are Demello RockCrushers. Not sure how it will all come together with the round hoops that are on my bumper, but we will see.

Doesn't really have anything to do with the meet but could have had he not started feeling better. My boy has been under the weather this week and almost had me questioning if I was gonna make it to the meet this weekend or not. Glad to see him back to his old self and glad to know that I will be at the meet no matter what!

When you said boy the first time I did not expect it to be a dog! I wish my dog was better suited for events lol but he is way too hyper all the time, and big.

So I may actually lose weight in my bumper swap. I have a geological study available in my end cap.
