Chronics are at it again. Friend's safety check bracket got jacked yesterday while parked at Windward City Shopping Center. Broad daylight. Car was just purchased in january too. I guess it could be worse. It wasn't cut out of his bumper. FB_IMG_1457629600687.jpg

I don't even know why we need those, HPD doesn't enforce those I've seen beaters driving around with none or ones that had 2013 on them. I've seen jacked up trucks with no RECON decals too.

Is it just me, or are there less people driving around with expired safety checks since the new system with the ipads?

It does piss me off when I see vehicles with expired sc's driving around. I got a ticket once for that, & never let it expire on me again. So yeah, HPD does enforce it sometimes.

No stations would pass my 08 with retros. Good to know they're at least enforcing the rules of having everything legal/stock on vehicles.

Couples months I ran the truck with the safety check expired haha. Luck ran out and got pulled over for it haha. Nice LEO just gave me a warning.

Even with the new iPad system, safety check still depends on where you go and who you know. Some places will let some things pass and some won't. Just like Recon. Whoever you have that day and if someone pissed in his coffee that morning will determine if they will let the little things slide.

The owner of the place that I get my safety checks done lets me slide on a lot of things, except if his wife is around. She be a real BITCH!! And she can ruin anyone's day.

Wow, I wouldn't call it a scratch if it's 6 inches deep. Or is it 6" long?
