I'd be careful of a 2-ton jack, just because it may offer less control when setting it down on jack stands, and in general. I had a Craftsman that I ditched because of this issue. Plus it was too short on reach. You can always shove a 4x4 block in there. That three ton in the link looks promising. I wouldn't go less than that. It appears to have a couple inches less lift height than the Arcan 3.5.

For stands I found that a pair of 6 tons and a pair of 3 tons is perfect. 6 tons for height under the frame rails front or back, and 3 tons for under the rear axle.

Missed all the ring talk earlier! Got my band made my a rad goldsmith in SF named Chris Neff. This is a cast but he hand made the original, which is nuts to me, his workshop was pretty awesome he makes everything under a freakin microscope.
    image.jpg

As far as my fiances ring it's a 1 carat center with .5 chips on the halo and band. Insured for $10,800 I paid $4500 :) I hope she never looses it but if she does, guess who's getting 40's!
Let me know if anyone wants my jewelrs info and sorry to bring this subject back, was busy at work and wanted to add my experiences.

BTW I hope you guys all have your ladies rings insured. It's easy and cheap, went through my moms homeowners insurance and they will fully replace it if anything happens.

Forgive the uniformed nature of my electrical knowledge but I need a new battery. Currently running a cb, ARB compressor, and led fog lights on the stock battery. Will soon be adding a winch, a 10" light bar, and reverse LEDs. Don't really plan on a fridge or camp lights or needing auxiliary power at camp. Would like to stick to same 27f size. Thinking of Optima YellowTop. Anyone have input?

A lot of guys have negative things to say about the Optimas these days. There was a group buy on some top notch AGMs a while back let me find it.

I'm pretty sure it was Northstar. Honestly I think 50% of it is manufacturer quality and 50% is how they are maintained. I had my OEM battery in for 7 years before I swapped it and that was only because I was going overseas for a year and didn't want it to die on my ex while she was driving it.

We also ran Optima blue tops in our 25' boats and West Marine AGMs on our 45's and 47's and never had a problem with any of them. The 8 house batteries for the 87 I'm on are Odyssey and once again, no issues. The one common thread is they are all maintained on a trickle charger when they aren't being charged via the engines.

That probably doesn't help much but tl:dr is maintain your batteries and don't let them go flat.

I'm still rocking the stock battery, zero issues, but also nothing connected to it :D. Need to start researching batteries for a dual setup in the bed. Any recommendations?
Mod list pulling off a second battery-
    50" radius LED bar
    (2) 30" LED bars
    (6) Diffused LED pods
    (2) Iggy 9" round LEDs
    Vhf/uhf radio in Cab
    ARB compressor CKMTA12
    2 locker solenoids
Probably a bigger sound system with amps/subs down the road

Will be getting that dude's electrical upgrade with the bigger 250A alternator. Someday plans for solar and probably a fridge in the bed.

Just unsure what type of batteries to buy at this point, but also haven't researched much yet
