That you will have to mask off and paint after the wheels are done

The front grille emblem? It pops right out. Spray it, let it dry then pop it right back in. No glue necessary.

The little emblems on the wheels pop out the same way. No glue.

Yea I meant the one on the wheels... that's great cause I wasn't confident in my skills in taping it off and having it come out clean. So they just pop right off can spray them and put back on?

Yes. Just GENTLY pry out on them. I tried one of mine a while back just to see how easy it was. I just have not got around to dressing my wheels up yet.

I put one can of plasti dip on each rim 4 years ago, still holding up strong through new tires, rotations...etc. Pretty stoked on the longevity! Glad I did that instead of getting them powdercoated...

really considering this before laying down some cash for new rims, but before doing so, how many cans would you guys recommend for all 4 tires, and how long before they're fully dry??

One can per rim is fine. Lay it on in layers, until the can is done. I did it on a saturday, drove it on a sunday.

I tried the rustoleum version a few years ago. I peeled it off as the red was not as bright as plasti dip's red. Also it didn't seen as smooth. I only had it on a day or 2 before removing so can't speak to longevity.

I used 2.5 cans for all 4 and it turned out great! Be sure to hit all angles of the wheel though. I used 2 to start with but then the next day when I pulled it out into the sun I noticed a few edges that I missed so it took about a half can to touch it up.

I derped mine after seeing @JimboAnz 's, since we had the same wheels. Its held up pretty well but I got new tires yesterday so its peeling. I'm hoping I can get them peeled today and rederped next week. I love my derped bumper so much, chrome is the worst.

Lift the hood and look at the back of it. Just un clip it and then pop it right back in place

To keep it chrome I juste use a small rasor blade to cut the dip from the edge of the logo and then just peeled the dip off the logo ;)
