    I use the ARB deflator, same thing as the Currie one. I like it and it works well but takes a little longer than the Stauns since you can only do one tire at a time

    Seeing that most TW mees to wheel there is always someone late (shit happens) we usually tag team the trucks and get it done quick.

    The stauns are cool once they are set tho.. But not 80$ cool. Ill stand and watch my Currie, it only takes a few min.

    i've never had good success with the tire deflators. They usually take too long and are slower than what i can do myself. I usually just use my stem wrench and twist the stems out a bit on all 4. Once they air out a bit i tighten them up and check them. After a few times ive gotten pretty good with knowing when to pull it. This last trip to Pismo it took me 5 min to go around and air down.

    I always wheel with my dad and end up having to do all 4 of mine and all 4 of his while he BS's with whoever so it's kind of a pain but it's nice because I can have us at different PSIs without having to fiddle with the Stauns

    how often should you change out the upper arm bushings? Mine dont appear damaged but they creak and make a ton of noise. They're greased heavily and properly with the bolt loose and then grease and tighten. Curious if my bushings are just shot.

    When I go wheel I'm relaxing so I DGAF if it takes a couple minutes longer with the currie. Same thing goes for airing back up, I choose a compressor over CO2.

    How many miles? How long have they been on? Any rust or pitting on the uniballs? How tight are the UCA bolts? Too tight and they will make the shit creak. To loose and it can bang around a bit and wreck the bushings.

    I had to actually take the bushings off, clean, grease real good, and reinstall them to get mine to stop creaking. Even though I loosened the bolt to grease them through the zerks, some parts of the bushing weren't getting grease because it still had pressure on them from being a tight fit in place.

    That's weird, I've always been able to fill them until grease spews out from all angles and that's worked so far. Thanks for the reminder too, cause mine just started up, it's grease time for me!

    Yeah, inner side of my control arms are pretty tight in place without tightening the bolt. So the inner bushings have pressure on them, the outers don't, so all of the grease from the zerk goes to the outer side of the bushings.

    Ok so the easy was to do it is to loosen the UCA bolt, squeeze grease out until it comes out everywhere, if your UCAs are too tight, throw a flathead in there lightly and add more grease till it comes out on that side, then do the other side. Sometimes those UCAs are a hair tweaked and fit SUPER tight around the coil bucket. Ive installed a couple, sometimes they just go right on and other times its toit loike a toiger.

    Then you got a super fucked up set of UCAs and someone had to take a crowbar to get them in. Trust me, you can get a small flat head in there enough to ease a little strain and squirt some grease out.

    I don't even grease my bushings at all. Lol. They have always been quiet as hell. My balls on the other hand, those know how to squeak CORRECT.

    It is for some people. You and I might be able to just pop that bad boy off, but I've definitely seen people dry humping the shit out of their fender for 2 hours trying to get a bolt out lol. Much easier to loosen a bolt and squirt some grease. Easy way to tell if your bushings are toast....
    They aren't even anymore (Excessive wear)
    They are bulging like crazy
    They are in pieces
    They are not there
