After waiting almost 60 days finally got the techstream cable. Installed software and cable didn't work. Got cable working but, after starting techsteam I get to the Vehicle Connection Wizard which doesn't fill in automatically. In the drop down on Model Code, does anyone know which number to select? and then the other drop down windows? For the 2016 Tacoma I didn't see anything in the search function about this portion of it. Thanks
    Nevermind I got it.

I am not sure if this is the right thread, but i'll go ahead and share for discussion.

I have been told by receivers of my calls, that when I use the speaker phone (hands free) feature while the AC unit is on, there is a lot of background "wind" sound. I was able to figure out that it's mainly due to the front air ducts (not the window, not the feet ducts). So I guess my tip is when using hands free and AC, you have to manually make sure not to use the front ducts.

Finally got tech stream to work but the "vehicle wizard screen" didn't fill in with my vehicle. I went down the pull down list of options for the top list and found "GRN3##" in the second box if filled in "7GR-FKS" when I selected this it did bring up Tacoma. I didn't change anything cause I wasn't sure this is the correct one to use since mine show it as 2CR-FKS which isn't listed. Has anyone used 7GR-FKS to change the customized options or am I doing something wrong, that it wont list the 2CR-FKS.
    Nevermind GRN3## worked.

That is probably your door locks unlocking. If not, I have this too. Everytkme my windows are down and I shift it to park, there's a huge grind underneath the car.

If the sound is coming from the engine than it's injectors cleaning the engine. This is normal operation... Also when shifting into p and taking your foot off the brake it gets locked into place making a clicking noise.

New owner here. I have most of the Entune stuff working ok though there's still a lot of learning. However the "Favorites" list (my Favorite contacts off my iPhone, I presume) is empty. Call History and the full Contacts list show just fine, and the Favorites button on the left can be picked, but nothing shows. Any ideas? I use this a lot on my phone ... I'm not a big Siri or voice recognition fan and really would like to use it in the truck. It's our first ever hands-free vehicle. Thanks.

The Favorites on the phone won't automatically carry over to Entune. If you pull up All Contacts on Entune you'll notice a star beside each one. Tap the stars of the contacts you want as favorites. They'll turn solid. Then go back and check your Entune Favorites list.

Why do I feel like I read somewhere on here that the favorites and the Iphone 6 didn't work well together. Like if you start adding favorites it will mess something else up. Gonna have to see if I can find that somewhere.

I believe it was the contact shortcuts, not the favorites, that were the problem.

Number 9 on the list of known problems lists that exact problem.

    Update on iPhone Entune issue:
I went to the home screen and selected two way split instead of three way. This fixed it. So, you cannot receive messages with iPhone on 3 way home screen. Wtf? It shows how shitty this system is.

So I have set up the home screen with three screens, and I did one section for the phone with quick contacts, and I'm receiving messages. I guess I'll have to try it a few more times before I'm confident that it's working, but it seems to be fine right now.

Any way to make it simply a single screen?

Which screen? For a single screen, you can just go to that screen... Turn off the feature that auto loads the home screen after a period of time.
