Nice Mark! Glad to see it's coming along. Someday we may wheel again! Good news is it's not my truck that's broken this time and it's yours!!

Can confirm. Say words like pinion and deflection, it'll help us blend.

Backlash is at .006. I am thinking it looks good, run it like this, but tighten up the BL a touch to get the gears running a bit deeper yet.

OK final bearings installed in lieu of set-up bearings. One adjustment to pinion shim after installing with new bearings, and this is what I'm running [literally right now, lol]

Thanks! Trying to figure out what tires to get now. My old MTR's are no longer streetable. And they raised the price yet again on new MTR's. Thinking maybe Procomp or Nitto this go around but don't know anyone with personal experience with either. But I could save myself a hell of alot of money.

Joe z with the fj80 on 40s has nittos and likes them. I was going to buy those before i stumbled upon the swampers. I was also looking at the mt-2s, thats a neat looking tire. Pick one probibly cant go wrong with either.

Mine are only 35's but they are my third set of nittos and I am very impressed with them. They are surprisingly quiet for an m/t tire on the street and keep a bead well aired down.
I can't speak to 40's but I can say I've been very satisfied with their performance off road.
