Craig, do you happen to have the part number of the correct seal extension? My crawl box is set to ship today and I wanted to confirm that 160-0011 was the correct adapter.

So today was my first day of an 11 day Vacation.

First order of business was to change the gear oil out on the crawlbox.
No pics of this but it was messy & not fun.

After that I was finally able to throw the modified T-Case skid on.



I drove it around & there were no new rattles, so I'll call that a win.

My next mission was to finally solve the PrInSu Rack wind noise issue. I've got a bunch of odds & ends floating around the shop for this. I decided to approach the build like I did with the RTT Fairing. There were still leftovers from that build so I got started measuring.
Here's the clear acrylic sheet cut to size & sitting in place:



I had several L brackets for old shelving left over so I decided to modify them to use as the top mounts:



A minute in the bench vice and I've got this:



After a trip to Sears Hardware and $40 later I had all the stainless steel hardware and two 5' L pieces to make up the supporting frame. Here's the bottom piece mounted with the same 5/16 bolts as the rest of the rack hardware:



For the sake of ease I used wing nuts on the top mounts. I could adjust them easier while messing with the fitment.



After an intermission to drop of kids & then have dinner I cut the top cross bar to fit & held it in place to measure for the holes in the acrylic.



Once I had this mocked up I drilled the holes and then fastened the sheet to the new frame with carriage bolts.



Tough to see but I also fit some gasket material on the bottom to protect against hitting the roof.

The best part: It fucking works!

I drove it at 65-70MPH and there was not a hint of the previous howl.

Now to take it all apart & paint it.
