I hope they adjust the pricing accordingly... by the time you've waited 8-12 more weeks, they may stop taking orders on 2016s and start ordering 2017s...

I was driving a black 16 limited before for a bit. overall, seems similar to my 14. the hood height is def higher and the button changes on the steering wheel will take a while to get used to. I kept hitting call button thinking it is volume.

did you try doing a dealer swap? they can even get you an allocation from another dealer. might speed up the time a bit if they can find what you want

I have already waited over 2 months and just found out that my truck was built in the last couple of days. Now that I have a VIN number, how long does it typically take to get from Mexico to Florida for delivery? I really wanted an American made truck for patriotic reasons but was told it would take another 6-8 weeks. Hope the build quality is the same.

The quality will be the same. mine was less than 6 weeks from build to delivery and mine was a week later than the original ETA. I bet your truck will be at dealer in month. not sure which port will be used for Florida.

Interesting Story, so my soon to be 2016 MGM DCSB apparently showed up to the Port without my Factory Tonneau Cover that I ordered. Dealer cant order a new one, since Toyota has put a stop sale on them. The dealer said they can install a Rugged Liner Hard Folding Rugged Cover for the same cost. Anyone had any experience with it?

Mine was also ordered with the factory tonneau cover. I hope it was produced before the stop sale.
Thanks jstudios for the reply. I hope you are right but now I am concerned about the tonneau cover since I like ti stay with the factory equipment for warranty reasons.

I'm off the waiting list, got my deposit back from Toyota. Got a D Cab, 4x4, Z71, for $45 more than the Taco I was waiting for, the vibration thread scared me away from a $40,000 nightmare, appreciate Aussie and the others here with helpful information, some good guys here will answer dumb questions.

I've been driving Z-71s for 20 years, and have a Taco on order too. My last Toyota was a 91 4x4 V6 that I got new. I still drive by the Chevrolet/ GMC dealerships every week and have yet to put the for sale sign on my current Z-71.
