Fixed Etune Messaging App...

By selling the LG V10 and buying a Galaxy S7 Edge, Everything works like it should including QI Charging which did not on the Note 5.

I like when ALL the tech can be used, not just some bits.

So those who might have Samsungs Galaxy S7 on their short list, I cab assure you everything works as it is supposed to engaged with the truck. Great phone./ Great Entune Tech

Awesome. I too have the V10, and messaging does not work. Will be getting my S7 Edge this Friday. Thanks for the heads up!

 

What's Fixed? if i buy a s7 can i voice text to my wife that I want dinner on the table when i arrive.....or am I still stuck with the standard replies built in, like "im on my way"

 

On the V10 when someone txts you; entune completely ignores it. That's about the only problem I had.

 

i dont have that problem with my s5. I want to be able to connect my phone via bluetooth and use speech to text.

 

Right !?! There's got to be a way to get Entune to do voice text, anyone ??

 

Entune already reads aloud any messages that come it. if you select "read"

 

Copy that. I would like to speak to text as well. Not sure why that feature is not available. Guessing liability. Has anyone figured out a way to make that happen ??

 

No, unfortunately you cannot dictate a txt to entune. I use my smartwatch for that when i'm driving.

 

when i connect my phone i cant even hear my keyboard sounds.

 

How is the S7 working after a couple of weeks? Is the text message feature working properly? Qi charging more reliable? I'm ready to upgrade from my S6 but only if the S7 works better.

 

The entune button is for entune functions. I have an iPhone and if I want Siri functions I hold the phone off hook button and that triggers Siri as if I was holding the home button. The one issue I have is when the phone is locked with a password it doesn't work. However I just unlock it and it works as intended. Assume it would be the same for an android phone.

 

This. I can voice to text just fine using my iPhone. However, I'm not sure that phone off the hook button works with android to voice text.

 

I have the note 5 and it works great everything works good

 

you could always edit one of the canned responses to say that

2-15 canned responses can be modified. first 1 cannot.


anyway, note 4 w/o case works just fine but its touchy if you hit decent bumps.
