Sitting here at the Toyota dealer, get to talking to the guy about lifts. I was suprised to hear that they install them. Then he said they use ready lift... A Toyota dealer that installs spacer lifts? I guess it shouldn't surprise me.

My guess, it works for what it is. Most people getting a lift at the dealer are going for looks, not function.

don't blame dealers, blame customers with money

The customer coming in the door will buy the Mall Terrain spacer lift on the showroom floor without hesitation

the shop foreman, who parks his Taco out back, has the real stuff installed

    lol.. wrong thread.

On a side note. People actually buy those lifted toyotas. The dealers here in gville cant keep them on the lot.

When i bought my truck over three yrs ago my salesman and sells manager tried to sell me on a spacer lift.I told them absolutely not! They said well don't you want to level your truck and make your suspension better!Better i said!More like potential damage if anything! They responded by saying that it's just as good as upgrading your suspension!I asked them if they installed suspensions and they said no!:facepalm:

Rather have a Tacoma on spacers and blocks than a $70k one ton diesel crew cab on spacers and blocks that are twice as tall.

I have an even worse story. I went to an ARB dealer yesterday hoping to discuss the Dakar leaf pack (I have 5100s/Eibachs up front) and this dumbfuck had the audacity to tell me that it's too bad I already lifted the front, and showed me a ready-lift spacer kit and said it will do the same lift and give me THE SAME RESULTS AND PERFORMANCE as a leaf pack.

I literally looked at him, said "We're on different pages here"..and walked right out. Mind = blown.

Brick does have some nice qualities for blocking....can be shaped, inexpensive, nice ride quality, songs written about it....I could go on.

Bro, if you're gonna bro, bro. Don't just bro for the sake of broing.

True...it has more give than steel...for ride quality.
