Who out there in the TW likes to storm chase or does storm chase? I am in the process of getting all the fun toys and mods together to be ready for this spring and severe weather.. I'm just curious what builds everyone else has done and how they setup their Tacoma for storm chasing!

This is an old 35mm pic...its open exposure of 2 strikes. The one where I felt the static in the air. This is in Mt home Idaho!

I like photography, so storm-chasing kind of goes hand-in-hand. That being said, I would never go towards a tornado-warned storm by myself and I've only "officially" been storm chasing with a buddy who knew what he was doing.

But I'd be damned if I said I didn't wish I had the time and knowhow to do it.. (and didn't have the fear of hail royally f'ing up my truck)

My prediction: it will be illegal soon. Someone is going to get hurt, and it won't be chasers-- it will be an innocent victim. The first time that happens, kiss it goodbye, and I'm afraid it will happen sooner rather than later given the numbers that do it, clog up traffic, and disobey traffic laws. They aren't all bad, but one bad apple............
