I am still checking weather reports. Hope it is light rain on Sunday. I will also call BLM and the Forestry service to make sure the trails are still going to be open either this afternoon or tomorrow morning. If the trails are shut down or if weather report determines heavy rain then we will have to postpone until next weekend. I will post an update here tomorrow evening whether the trail run is still a go or postponed.

So the trip up to Mondecino National Forest will have to be re-scheduled. Contacted the BLM and Forestry Service up there. They closed down the trails because of all the rain. Stream crossings have become iffy and there has been mudslides. So this weekend is a no go. Not sure when the trails will be opened, probably after they dry out a bit. So I was thinking of shooting for the 26th of March, Saturday. What do you think???

Will probably stick to meeting at the Black Oak Diner in Vacaville. Yep, will hopefully have time to install my Firestone air bags.

Nope. I am just in Pittsburg. We have to jump on the 505 to the 5 to head north to the trail head anyway. Dinner is right on the corner of 505

The more the merrier. I know definitely a buddy and his jeep. A co-worker and his Dodge and another friend with her 04 Tacoma (if it is out of the shop by then)

Appreciated. Should have the truck early the week of the 21st. Will give you a solid yea/nay then. What's the plan for the trail lunch, eat what you brought, potluck, stop and grill or bum/beg?

If everyone wants to bring for themselves or do a potluck, it doesn't matter to me. I am going to bring my Coleman stove and whip up some hotdogs and Mac and Cheese. I will get the huge family size, but if everyone could bring a little of something that would be great. Figured about halfway through the run we could pull to the side or find a campsite to park in and start lunch. Sound good??

Sounds good. I got a small table too and a few camp chairs. Looking forward to the trip. Looking forward to the lunch on the trip. If someone wants to bring maybe burgers, potato salad or chips or something I think we could have a good little BBQ lunch.
