I'm going to Windrock if there's a 50% chance of rain or less. The trails there aren't half as bad as what gulches would be plus the mountains breaks half that shit up.

IF Gulches closes I am 100% going somewhere else... just the place with the least rain. Not wanting to camp in the rain

    Look at build!
Just FYI the first and last time I went to Stoney lonesome it blew a big one if you actually wheel. May as well just goto durhamtown and play in the mud. Wasn't much at Stoney for anyone with a decently modded truck.. Now chocoloco mnt or somewhere similar may be another story in Alabama! If gulches closes I'd goto windrock personally but by any means I don't think the trails at windrock are any easier what so ever if wet. I've been dry and wet and caught hell equally as much.. That's gulches and windrock. If gulches closes count me out of going anywhere else @ajohnson We'll have to figure out a way to get your sliders to you if this doesn't happen

I've never been to Stoney Lonesome, but it's like 45 minutes from where I'm from originally. I haven't heard anyone rant and rave over it though it seems... If you're looking for a really good park to wheel at check out Hawk Pride near Florence, AL. Very large park with all sorts of trails. I spent a weekend there, was lost the entire time, didn't ride the same trail twice, and had a blast. I was stock at the time too. Can't wait to go back sometime.

If the weather doesn't work out for Gulches I'm planning on doing something camping/offroading related somewhere somehow.

I saw the models earlier today look narly. But tonight's 00z (most recent run) has it all passing North.[IMG]

We're to far out to make any definitive call but honestly the models over the last few days have been getting weaker when it comes to rain.

If it does rain, I'm up for a meet-n-greet/lunch/mod day on Saturday, somewhere in North Georgia.

I hope is does NOT rain - I'm itching to camp...

Kind of all depends what this low over AL does right now. If it cuts off, then you might as well assume it'll rain. If it gets kicked out then we could still have a shot.
