When I researched kayaks, I didn't know if I should go with the sit-in or the on top. Talking to some people, they said that the on-top was easier to get on and off of, but weren't as stable as the sit-in ones. I have only been in mine and the wife's, so I can't say anything about the sit on top ones.

On a side note..It's funny how we're discussing kayaks. Right before coming online to TW, I helped my daughter & her boyfriend load her truck (She is a Tacoma owner as well.) up with the kayaks. They're at Oak Harbor as we speak.

It says canoeing. They got lost when it got dark. Not to be an ass, but...If you notice it starting to get dark, it might be a good idea to turn around and head back, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area.

That sounds better than being stuck at Ross while the Mrs. shops for clothes.

No ass about it, I agree 100%. It gets dark as hell back there, and I know there is no cell coverage (at least for me). With little/younger kids you need to think ahead, how long did we travel and how long to get back? I'm glad they are ok, but it was still a bit bone headed.

Misery loves company, lol. I'm trying to avoid that side of town today. I'm at the one at Oakleaf.

You know, that's a good observation. I've never seen anyone do that there. Not sure how I would feel parking there and leaving the truck though.

There has to be other areas around here that would work. It's practically all swamp anyway.

    What about Black creek?

My younger daughter works at the Town Center, deep in the middle of it all. Sometimes I drive her to work because she doesn't want to deal with parking. Man...I hate that place.

That place is terrible. They are building an IKEA there and Baptist is putting in an Emergency room. It's going to get worse in the next few months.

I heard we were getting a Bass Pro, though not sure when

The land across from the Town Center, where the lake/pond is & people used to wheel, is where more businesses will go. That whole area is going to be nothing but shopping and traffic. If it's bad now, I can't imagine it when it's all done. Christmas time will be even more horrible. JTB will be a parking lot as well.

@ManBeast There is a spot behind the town homes in the town center. It isn't much but I took my tacoma out there one day a month ago.
