You kids and all these battery's. Just learn to ruff it with out all your power toys. When I camp I rough it. Compared to you guys . if you want a motorhome just buy one. I still font see the need for so much power storage. Are you going to mount a flatsrceen in that bitch and bring your gaming systems too. Lol

 

Welcome to 2016, old timer. We enjoy technology. I'm working on having a 70" flatscreen unfold out out of the bed with Wifi all around the truck, and seats built in to the tailgate so I can play video games with my kids while we camp. I'm just gonna call out for pizza to be delivered to the camp.

 

Real talk, I'm putting a boat load of lighting on the truck so I can go fast at night. My biggest issue on the prerunner was my lighting situation at night, could barely go very fast at night, and forget about following someone through their dust. So enjoy your 'technology-less' camping, my technology choices don't infringe on that

 

I used to rough it. But if I want to camp often, in semi- remote locations, the family is coming with me. They're pretty good, but definitely won't sleep in the cold. Have to make provisions...

It's also about preparation. The chances of getting stranded in a remote location is more probable than a lot of things we try to mitigate with vehicle mods. Batteries are disposable and having 2 doesn't hurt. Especially when you're running a panini press.

as I understand from IGGY, a G27 will fit in his mount, but G31 no. the G31 fits well in stock location with a specific cage. that was my thought to put a G27 in the IGGY cage as a starter. no problem with the 140amp alternator, just bigger because mod

Saturday May 21st 2pm-10pm Tacoma World Bod Mod Day, looking to keep stuff down to 1-2 hour sessions to fit everyone in who wants in. I know there was a lot of initial interest so please PM me with ideas and such so I can work out a schedule. This day is a few weeks before Moab so it should be good and healed for anyone who is making that trip
