Noticed the strip (weather strip?) at the base of my windshield is not flush across the windshield. There are places across it where it curls upwards, and the whole unit seems loose. Is this a problem? There are no leaks that I'm aware of (it's been raining a lot too). Just seems kinda odd

Do you mean the plastic under the wiper arms? I think that snaps into another plastic piece (but I could be wrong)

It's hard to explain, it's some strip at the base all the way across. It does seem to connect to the plastic pieces at the corners, which seem loose and can be moved around

Edit: adding picture..it curls upwards like that in 2-3 spots. Plastic is kinda hard too so it can't really be shaped back, if that makes sense

Ya, that's it. It should snap together but I do wonder if heat has distorted it beyond being able to snap together.

Yea I tried to snap it back into place but it doesn't seem to want to. No leaks that I'm aware of so not sure it's it's a big deal or not...

I'm pretty sure that's just a garnish molding to cover the wiper area and won't create leaks of any kind.
