You might have pegged it right there. Bad ball joints will make a popping noise when you turn the wheel, more so if you put them under the strain of a tight corner like a U-turn. I wouldn't be surprised if that was where your noise came from, especially if they're rusty or dry.
Check the rest of the front end parts for play, obviously, but I suspect your problem lies with the Camburgs. If it's not that, my next guess would be sway bar bushings/links.

Saw a pretty nasty accident on 495 NB around exit 27 a-b...

Same kind of mazda Ari has got FUCKED up!

Only reason I post here is there was a built sand colored third gen with one of those low profile racks that goes from cab to bed.

There's definitely lots of them. I've had 4-5 that have succumbed to cancer in the past.
Goddamn Calcium Chloride they put on the roads up here just eats steel.

The Rubicon is going to be stiffer/firmer but should also give just under an inch lift

So today I got to really test my crawler it worked awesome! Idled up everything that didn't require a bump.

Well maybe it worked a bit to well, I got hung up and the spotter advised a bump would get over the rock in the bottom picture, and it would have had both my Front CVs not exploded...

Got to tear into the bike today, try to get my signals working so I don't have to use my hands and can actually get it inspected this year. Well, turns out previous owners have hacked up the wiring a lot more than I originally thought... I found a new/used harness on eBay, no more chasing wires, going to replace the whole damn thing. Some people should not be allowed to do wiring.

Plymouth I think we ended up in the trails in Kingston though. Not sure on the status of those trails I was told they were legal and there were 3 other groups we ran into. Some good stuff back there I just can't find any info on it.

Any of you guys know any powder coating shops that a are semi reasonable? The local one to me in Clinton get $700 for 4 wheels. Seems a little much just for my extra set of wheels.
