The Waiting Game...Who's playing?

Ordered mine on Nov 21st and took delivery on Feb 3rd. Got a BBP, TRD Sport, DCSB, 4X4, Manual, premium & tech package, tow package, tonneau cover, predator tube steps and roof rack. Have almost 2500 miles on it already. Love it! Good luck to everyone who's still waiting on their taco.

 

So I got the Vin for my build. Going to be built in Texas with the 5 in the beginning of the Vin. I hear you can figure out when it will be built with the Vin number? GX13B401is the last 8. Anyone enlighten me on what the number's mean

 

It is a temp VIN, it will be built the 13th week of the year. Your dealer should be able to tell you the exact day. Once it is built, you should get the real VIN and the dealer should have a delivery estimate.

And January 1st of 2016 was on a Friday, I don't think that is Week 1. The week after was Week 1 I believe. Mine was a 10, it was built March 11th.

 

Thanks for the info! I guess April 18th delivery sounds about right then. Looks like they put regular floor mats instead of the all weather ones. Guess that can be fixed when it arrives. I don't feel like messing with it at all till it arrives

 

Ordered December 29th. She arrived at the Toyota bullpen in Markham, Ontario, on Monday, March 7th. Arrived by truck to Toronto dealer late yesterday, Friday March 11th. PDI scheduled for Monday, March 14th and I should take delivery Tuesday, March 12th. 1 km on the odometer.

The lot I bought mine off today had 13 in stock. Reliable Toyota in Springfield, MO if anyone is interested.

 

Bought my '04 TRD 4x4 last Saturday, only 25,000 miles on it...Toyota needed to keep it to perform their standard inspection plus "third party inspection", as well as install an alarm on it. It's been 7 days and today they tell me it won't be ready until the middle of NEXT week, what the hell?? Just to perform routine inspection/maintenance/alarm installation? Ugh.

Playing the waiting game blows. But hey, in the meantime I have a brand new Camry to use courtesy of the dealership, so at least I'm saving on gas until my Taco is ready

 

Been watching this thread for about a month now... finally decided to join TW.

Ordered a TRD Sport Access cab BBP on 2/20. Build date of 3/31. So excited! I've been dreaming of getting a taco for years now.

 

I just got my TRD Sport Access Cab 4X4 Inferno. Loving it. If Inferno wasn't an option, I would have went with BBP. Can't wait to see pictures of yours. Good luck!

 

Thanks! The truck i test drove was inferno, looked so good. Dealer told me i'd have it the second week of may :| So I'm just enjoying the time i have left with my subaru

 

Yep, I still have my '14 Honda Accord. Debating if I should sell it or keep it. I think they should have called the Inferno color "Blazing Inferno Pearl".

 

Keep the accord. I have a 15 civic as a daily driver. Use the Tacoma for fun

 

Had me a tacoma for two years then got a tundra in 2011. Had been looking at going back to a Tacoma since then. Finally decided to switch back as of last few months. So got my truck just waiting was told 8-12 weeks before it'll be in. 2016 Sport Long Bed with JBL, added leather and remote start.

 

My Access Cab Sr with a few options was at the dealer today, Closed on Sunday but I drove by.
should pick up Tomorrow night!!

I think I would find one at another dealer somewhere and take a road trip!
