So, it looks like someone opened their door into my drivers side door, or worse. I washed the truck today and noticed a gash in the door. Also noticed the surrounding clear coat peeling away. I've had door dings on previous cars but never to this extent.

Any thoughts on what I could do to fix it?

    Thanks!image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
The odd part about this is there is no clear coat from the factory on a super white paint job. Is it possible that it was a bad repair like someone painted over a smooth surface without first sanding off the gloss?

I'm honestly not sure. I did not realize that the super white wasn't clear coated. I can tell you that the paint around it is very smooth and where the peeling has happened, it's rough feeling.

A good auto body shop should be able to fix that up cheap.
