nelztaco: I had to hunt around for someone to do my spring pack tsb. I ended up going out to New Holland Toyota. It was a hike, but they did it with NO hassel. Great guys to deal with. If it matters enough, you might want to give them a call.

I just called Champion Toytoa in NE Philly. I was already scheduled for my 20k maintenance, so they said it wouldn't be a problem to recalibrate the ECM. Let's see how it goes tomorrow.

glad they will fix the 2-1 downshift. I'll try to get mine checked when I get the truck in to replace a seat cover.

Thanks guys! My dealer updated mine today and I'm very happy. I was pretty use to the old configuration, but this is far better for my driving style. BTW if you're in Atlanta, World Toyota will take care of you.

Okay, I appreciate the comments but I actually need a file that I can print and take to the dealership. The file is TSB 0393-09. This file is the correct one for the 2010's
    Thanks

Got mine done today in Fredericton and, like everyone else, I'm EXTREMELY happy with the results!!

The service advisor was great. He said it wouldn't take long and suggested that I wait. The mechanic took it in and flashed it and I was out of there in 1 hour. I noticed on the report that the mechanic wrote "Rough shifting 1st and 2nd. Test drove it and problem was there. Uploaded new programming. Test drove and problem was gone." Meanwhile, nobody test drove my truck. LMAO. So I guess they just took my word for it which makes me happy!! TSB for Canada is #3310-09

horse .... I don't think that you have the right TSB number for the 2010. If it's a TSB for a 2010 model, shouldn't it end with -10 ... as in TSB 0393-10 ???

That's so funny they never test drove it and wrote it up that way.

The last part of the TSB number is the year it was published and not related to the potential model of the vehicle affected.

    TSB-0393-09 Dated Dec 3 for the 2010

    TSB-0373-09 Dated Nov 3 for the 2009

Took my 2010 DC in today for the trans TSB(TSB-0393-09 Dated Dec 3 for the 2010) and the screwed up radio volume. They re-flashed the ecm an ordered me a new radio. There was not an actual TSB listed on the receipt they gave me but I informed them of the one above and they looked it up in their computer no problem. I must say it drives about a million times better. No more wierd downshifts and hunting between first and second gear. I could actually tell the difference in about 2 minutes after I starting driving it. Big thanks to everyone for the info!!!!!

Finally, armed with the actual TSB number and the date of the release, I confronted my dealership and they checked and found this information to be true.
I am scheduled for Tuesday of next week. Will post results at that time.
THANKS to everyone that was involved in posting the TSB info that enabled me to get the job done.

I just had the TSB done on my 2010 TRD Sport Prerunner. Just leaving the dearlership I knew right away that is was driving better. For you guys in the San Diego area, I had it done at Toyota of El Cajon in their brand new $45 million dollar dealership. Good Luck to you fellow TW members still trying to get your Tacos fixed. Just be persistant. :)

Had the TSB installed this morning. Noticed a huge difference just in pulling out of the lot. Service technician was very happy I knew the TSB number because he was unaware of the new fix. In and out in a half hour. Excellent service. Now an excellent truck.

Had the transmission tsb done and the rear springs replaced last week.
Very happy with the results of both.
Done at Philpott Toyota in Nederland, TX. No hassle... the only question they asked me is "When do you want to drop it off?"
ECM reflash took about an hour on Tues. and they had it all day for the springs Thursday.
