    Couple reasons

    Expense mostly

I don't want to have to mess with glass fenders (expense) and I don't think they'd look good on my truck

I can but spare CVs now for $35 instead of $600 (expense)

I don't want my wheelbase 4" wider. Trails are tight enough as it is.

I don't want to add spacers in the rear to match the fronts width or to buy a new rear axle

I feel like adding LT in the front just opens a new can of worms. By the time I buy the new front suspension I'll be close to $15k in parts and mods I think. I'm pretty much tapped out on what I'm willing to spend on this project. I don't see the cost/benefit value of LT for what I use the truck for.

I figured expense would be the reason. I think I asked you before now that I think of it.

Have you thought about ditching the 37's and going to 35's? Put 887's on, have more center ground clearance than a DB on 37's, less wear and tear on gears/transmission, better ride etc.. Putting a DB on opens another can of worms as well..

3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
All it does is raise the COG of the truck. And maybe some vibration(that can usually be fixed easily) from the driveshafts. So what can of worms does it open?

Weaker components, cutting the cross member, higher COG, less center clearance, if he wants high performance coil overs they are more expensive for a DB lift.

You get what you pay for. I've seen some DB lifts put through some serious shit and not give. But I understand those who'd rather spend that 2k+ on coilovers and UCAs. I'd much rather do that as well

Dropping the 37s for 35s ain't happening without a DAMN good reason. I love my 37s and with the money I save running surplus tires I can buy a shit ton of parts for the wear and tear I supposedly get but have yet to actually see. Swapping to 35s in my mind is equivalent to "why don't you be like everyone else". I didn't cut 2square feet of firewall out to do what everyone else is doing.

I wouldn't swap to 887s. If I DB or not doesn't matter, I'm getting coilovers either way.

Raising the center of gravity in my mind is a moot point. Any lift is going to raise it even the coveted SAS. Maybe that's where my 150lb wheels and tires would come in handy.

At this point the biggest deciding factors are money and o
If my 16.5" wheels will fit. Once I see if the wheels will fit I'll decide if I wanna drop another 1500 into the front suspension or use it to get a custom leaf pack.

If they fit, and the money is there I may just do it to have the only mid traveled drop bracket 37" crawlboxed truck.
